ATTIRE Appropriate attire is required within the Clubhouse and around the Club grounds at all times. The dress code applies to all guests and children. Please refer to the information below for proper attire. Clubhouse: Golf attire and other casual attire is acceptable within the Clubhouse. We ask that shirts be tucked in at all times. Prohibited Clubhouse attire: short shorts, cutoffs, gym shorts, sweats, halter tops, swimsuits, and ripped or frayed clothing of any kind. For men, golf hats and caps are not permitted on the main level of the Clubhouse. Golf Course: Golf slacks, shorts, skirts/skorts, collared shirts, turtleneck and mock neck shirts, sweaters and pullovers are standard golf course dress. Golf or tennis shoes must be worn at all times. Shorts should be mid-thigh or Bermuda length and worn in the appropriate manner. Prohibited golf attire: uncollared shirts for men, short shorts, tennis shorts, cutoffs, gym shorts, sweats, jeans of any color, tank tops, halter tops, and shirt tails untucked. Grille, Bar & Deck: The Grille, Bar and deck are our more casual dining areas. Jeans and warm-up suits will be allowed. Racquet Sports Courts: Appropriate tennis attire, including tennis shoes, is required on the tennis courts. Warm-up suits and appropriate paddle attire are acceptable at the Paddle Tennis Facility. Pool: Bathing suits and bare feet are restricted to the pool area. Individuals wearing bathing attire (including bathing suit cover-ups) will not be permitted in the Clubhouse. Any attire not in compliance with these guidelines will be addressed in a respectful and consistent manner. | PARKING As a guest of Wayzata Country Club, you may use our Valet service, or park in one of our two lower lots. The Club provides Valet Service for specific hours as posted at the Valet desk. To comply with the safety and emergency procedures, no vehicles are to be left unattended in the front entry or the turnaround area. Two (2) short-term parking spaces are provided for those needing special assistance. Short-term parking is 5 minutes or less. Unattended vehicles blocking the Club entry or fire lanes will be towed at the Member’s expense. The Club has provided parking without charge. If you avail yourself of it, the Club will not recognize any responsibility for losses or damages that may occur. The Club will look to you or to your insurance carrier to pay for such losses or damages. TIPPING The tipping of most personnel at Wayzata Country Club is not practiced. The exceptions are the following employees and independent contractors whose wages are supplemented by tipped income: Valet Staff and Coat Room Attendants. GUEST GOLF INFORMATION Bag Drop: The bag drop is located on the left side of the front door in the valet circle. Pace of Play: Players are expected to finish 9 holes in two hours and 18 holes in four hours. Play will be monitored by a Ranger who has the authority and responsibility to maintain the pace of play. Slow players may be asked to skip a hole or let others play through. Repeat offenders may be asked to leave the course. Soft Spikes: Non-ground-piercing spikes are mandatory at Wayzata Country Club. Members are advised to inform their guests of this policy and have them arrive one hour prior to their tee time if they need to have their spikes changed. Locker Rooms: Men's and Women's Locker Rooms are available for guest use. Golf Shop: Merchandise may be purchased in the Golf Shop with cash, check, or credit card. All golf related fees must be charged to your host member's account. |
