Wayzata Country Club's championship course designed by Robert Bruce Harris, has matured beautifully into one of the premier courses in the midwest. Recently renovated by renowned course architect John Fought, the course has new bunkers, tees and upgraded fairways. The new 6-hole short course and state of the art practice facility gives Wayzata CC Members an unparalleled golfing experience. WCC has hosted two USGA National Championships. The 1984 USGA Junior & the 1994 Men's Mid-Am. Our professional golf staff provide lessons and clinics throughout the season to help first-time golfers get started and to polish the skills of our more seasoned golfers. Ladies at Wayzata CC enjoy a Tuesday 9-hole league, Wednesday Twilight league, Thursday 18-hole league, and multiple Guest days. Men may participate in season-long Singles and Four-Ball Match Play events, Tuesday night leagues and multiple Guest Days. Our three day Men's Invitational Guest event is recognized as the best in the Twin Cities. Couples enjoy multiple themed Guest days along with our traditional Mr. & Mrs. Championship. Our Junior Golf Academy is the finest in the area, featuring 3 & 6-Hole programs, 9-Hole Play with the Pro, and 18-Hole Academy. Regardless of age or level of play Wayzata CC offers something for everyone. Elite programming and knowledgeable staff create a golf experience that surpasses recreation.
